I was really disappointed with the room. It was gross—stains everywhere, broken doors, and peeling paint. The bathroom was just dirty. After complaining, we had to switch rooms twice! Such a hassle for our supposedly relaxing beach trip.

Staff really shine with their kindness and helpfulness. The pools look inviting and the beach is just a hop away from your room.
Room cleanliness? Let's just say it could do with a makeover.

The room featured beautiful, up-to-date decor that I appreciated. The beds were comfortable, contributing to a good night's sleep despite occasional noise from nearby balconies. Temperature control was adequate, but the bathroom space was tight, making it awkward. I noticed cleanliness issues like dust on surfaces and a dirty towel upon arrival. The shower had a whistling noise while in use, which was distracting. The limited housekeeping services, such as needing to ask for clean towels and toilet paper, were frustrating. Some amenities, like the ice machine, were not functioning well.

Camelot By the Sea stands out for its superb proximity to the beach and an array of dining options nearby. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, enhancing our stay. While the rooms could use updates, the overall experience was enjoyable and worth returning for.

Waking up to the sunrise and the moon's reflection over the ocean from my oceanfront balcony was absolutely gorgeous, and the convenience of having grocery stores, beach shops, and a variety of restaurants just a few steps away made my stay even better; I loved that places like Bummz on the Beach and Jaybo's Pizza & Grill were so close, not to mention the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade just over a kilometer away for perfect evening strolls, although the room itself could use a little more space for comfort.

The beach is just a short walk away. We had plenty of towels and a washer for our laundry.
It was a bit pricey, but worth it.

The pools are a dream! I loved lounging by the gorgeous outside pool with a waterfall. The beach access made it so easy to soak up the sun and enjoy the waves!

Participated in fun activities and enjoyed fresh seafood dishes. The water park was a blast!
I always treasure falling asleep on grime-covered carpets with a sewage scent and blood splatters on the door.

Loved the area and the convenience of parking near the rooms. Staff was friendly and attentive, quickly addressing our missing shower curtain. The free DVD rentals and activities for kids added nice touches. the room had a questionable cleanliness with hair and stains, and the décor felt outdated. The 10-digit room code system was a hassle, particularly when it timed out. Despite the flaws, the pools and Italian ice were enjoyable. Some improvements are needed, but the friendly atmosphere made for a decent stay.

The pools were enjoyable, offering indoor and outdoor options, which was great for relaxing after a long day of work. Additionally, the resort catered well to families with its kid-friendly amenities. The location near the beach was convenient for some leisure time.
The cleanliness of the room was disappointing, with visible stains, worn-out furniture, and a foul odor. The lack of prompt response from staff to address issues such as mold and mildew was concerning.

Just a commendable fit for a passing visit in Myrtle Beach with reasonable value. Beds were very comfortable.

So, we recently stayed at the Camelot and wanted to share our experience. The location was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the view and outside pool area. The kitchenette was well equipped, which made preparing meals easy. there were some areas that needed improvement. The room was a bit dated, with peeling paint and worn-out carpets. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, and the sofa sleeper was actually defective. It was a bit disappointing to find the sofa in that condition. Another downside was the lack of cleanliness. The room wasn't cleaned daily, and we encountered issues like clogged sinks and shower heads. Plus, there were scattered cups and garbage around the area, which wasn't appealing. the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were the highlight of our stay at the Camelot. Unfortunately, our overall experience was marred by the cleanliness and maintenance issues we encountered during our time there. we had a mixed experience at Camelot. While the staff was fantastic, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property left something to be desired. It's a shame because the location and amenities had great potential. Hopefully, they can address these issues in the future.

Waking up to the sunrise and seeing the full moon reflect on the ocean from our oceanfront balcony was simply gorgeous and made our stay truly special amid enjoying comfortable beds and nice amenities like a washer and dryer in our room, however, while everything was pleasant, the interior could use some updates to match the beautiful surroundings.

Great beach access and outdoor pool; parking fees add up quickly.

Comfortable room, comfortable amenities with a lovely beachfront view and a well-equipped kitchenette that made our stay enjoyable and convenient.
Nothing all good.

A tale of two rooms. Our first experience was marred by cockroaches and an overpowering fishy smell. Thankfully, the staff promptly relocated us to a much cleaner unit. The view from the 17th-floor balcony was stunning, and the comfortable queen bed made for restful nights. The variety of pools and the nearby Bumz restaurant/bar were fantastic. Daily kids' activities were a thoughtful touch. smoking from below invaded our space, and the drippy kitchen sink was an irritation. While the property shows signs of wear—peeling paint and carpet issues hamper its charm—the overall stay was enjoyable thanks to attentive staff. Just be prepared for some hiccups along the way.

The location was fantastic as it was right on the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The pools were great for relaxation and enjoying the sunny weather during the stay.
The room was disappointing, with old, uncomfortable beds and dirty furniture. There were stains and dirt throughout, making the experience feel unpleasant.

We hit slide after slide all day, never getting bored. Then we free, fell 100 feet at the Slingshot Drop Zone , crazy adrenaline rush! Plus, we got to join winter activities for free , endless fun for us hotel guests!
One thing that could be improved is having more late, night options for us party animals. Let's keep the energy going 24/7!

We free-fell joyfully on the Slingshot Drop Zone at Family Kingdom Amusement Park. Oceana Resorts presented complimentary exciting winter activities across resorts, keeping us all entertained.
For dads, more kid-friendly pool areas would be great.

Myrtle Beach was the perfect destination for a disabled guest like me. The hotel provided wheelchair access, air conditioning, and non-smoking rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. The free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception were a great convenience. The outdoor swimming pools and jacuzzi were a delightful way to unwind. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the boardwalk and close to various activities like mini golf, fishing, and snorkeling.
Unexpected construction noise during our stay.

The hotel is conveniently close to Broadway at the Beach and the boardwalk, with fun activities at the pools for both kids and adults. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. The resort also offers a hot tub and a bar with a nice outdoor atmosphere.
Felt snug, no complaints whatsoever.

We loved everything about Camelot by the Sea - Oceana Resorts Vacation Rentals and I gladly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in an ocean front accommodations. Beautiful room. Beautiful view. Sweet and very helpful and kind staff. the full kitchen was a great feature, along with the separate bedroom and living room. the parking proximity to our room was convenient. the indoor and outdoor pool availability, along with the supplied swim towels and rinse off area, added to the enjoyable experience. the location was favorable with many places within walking distance. the pools were well-maintained, and my 4-year-old grand daughter loved the mushroom pool.
Nothing it is perfect 🙂

We chose Camelot By The Sea - Oceana Resorts Vacation Rentals for its proximity to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, but we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious chef-driven menu at Johnny D's Waffles and Bakery. The homemade Belgian waffles and pancakes were exceptional.
Limited parking.
